In an impressive performance, Moroccan athlete Youssra Karim clinched the gold medal in the Women’s Discus Throw F41 category at the World Para Athletics Championships in Kobe, Japan.
Youssra set a new world championship record with a throw of 37.34 meters, surpassing her closest competitors, Tunisia’s Raoua Tlili, who secured silver, and Ecuador’s Stefany Lopez, who took the bronze.
This victory marks a significant milestone for Karim, who previously won the silver medal in the same event at last year’s World Para Athletics Championships in Paris.
