18 young Moroccan surfers, including talents such as Tareq Tehraoui, Ayman Gougali, Mohammed Reda Madouar, Lilias Tebbai, and Ranya Squalli, are participating in the 3rd edition of the Morocco Mall Junior Pro, which began today at Ain Diab beach in Casablanca.
The competition features a strong lineup of 170 surfers under the age of 20, promising a week of high-stakes professional surfing. Among the participants are recent amateur world champions and previous Junior Qualifying Series (JQS) event winners, all vying for important ranking points in this season opener.
Local Moroccan surfers are expected to leverage their intimate knowledge of the Ain Diab waves to their advantage, aiming to carry the Moroccan flag high on home turf and showcase their competitive skills against some of the best junior surfers from the region.
