The sad news was officially announced by Wydad Casablanca’s spokesperson, Mohammed Talal, during a live broadcast on Radio Mars immediately after the match. Talal expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and all Wydad supporters, sharing the sorrow that has befallen the tight-knit fanbase.
The first signs of the cardiac crisis manifested while the supporter was watching the match live at the stadium. The civil protection services had to intervene, rushing him to the hospital. Unfortunately, the Wydad fan passed away en route to the hospital.
