The GLORY Light Heavyweight Grand Prix, featuring eight of the top light heavyweight fighters, will take place on June 8 at Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands. Moroccan fighters Tarik Khbabez and Ibrahim El Bouni will be among the competitors aiming to win the championship.
Tarik Khbabez, the reigning GLORY Light Heavyweight Champion, is set to face French competitor Pascal Touré in the quarterfinals, while Ibrahim El Bouni will take on Azerbaijani Bahram Rajabzadeh in the opening bout of the evening. Both Moroccans are in opposite brackets, with the possibility of a showdown between them in the final.
In addition to the main tournament, Moroccan fighter Mohamed Amine will face newcomer Cem Caceres Aygun from Turkey in a reserve fight. The winner of this bout could potentially enter the tournament if any fighter is unable to continue due to injury.
The event will also feature a pure Moroccan fight between Sofiane Abdelkhalek and Ilyass Chakir, while Iliass Hammouche will face french Ramy Deghir in a middleweight top-ten clash.
