Moroccan runner Noura Ennadi set a new personal record at the Ciudad de Valencia International Athletics Meeting in Spain on February 7, 2024, in the women’s 400 metres short track indoor race. Ennadi’s stellar performance saw her clinch victory as she crossed the finish line in just 53.69 seconds.
Ennadi’s secured the first place in the race, outpacing her competitors Vera Barbosa from Portugal, who finished second with a time of 53.97 seconds. Following closely behind were Aauri Lorena Bokesa from Spain, who secured third place with a time of 54.29 seconds, and Alba Serrano, also from Spain, who finished fourth with a time of 55.53 seconds.
In addition to her remarkable performance at the Ciudad de Valencia International Athletics Meeting, Noura Ennadi’s achievement brings her closer to the Moroccan national record of 53.54 seconds, set by Olympic champion Nezha Bidouane established during the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Paris in 1997.
