Morocco’s national team clinched the title of National Team of the Year, emphasizing its collective achievements on the international stage. Coach Walid Regragui was recognized as the Coach of the Year, while Yassine Bounou from Al Hilal secured the Goalkeeper of the Year title. Moroccan footballer Fatima Tagnaout, representing AS FAR, claimed the Interclub Player of the Year (Women), and Nissrine El Chad won the Young Player of the Year (Women).

Alongside Moroccan victories, various winners from other countries were also acknowledged during the CAF Awards 2023, Victor Osimhen from Nigeria, Napoli’s player, clinched the Player of the Year (Men) award, while Asisat Oshoala, also from Nigeria and playing for Barcelona, secured the Women’s Player of the Year title. Percy Tau, representing Al Ahly Egypt, emerged victorious as the Interclub Player of the Year (Men). The Coach of the Year (Women) distinction went to Desiree Ellis from South Africa, and Chiamaka Nnadozie, hailing from Nigeria and player of Paris FC, was named Goalkeeper of the Year (Women). Lamine Camara Metz’s player earned recognition as the Young Player of the Year (Men). Nigeria’s national team received the National Team of the Year (Women) award, while Egypt’s Al Ahly claimed the esteemed title of Club of the Year (Men).
