After leading 2-0 at the end of the first day, the Moroccans decisively clinched the fate of the encounter on the second day. The duo of Elliot Benchetrit and Adam Moundir secured the victory in the doubles match against Sergis Kyratzis and Eleftherios Neos with a scoreline of 6-4, 6-4.
Saturday’s matches set the tone for Morocco’s success, with Yassine Dlimi claiming the first point by defeating Petros Chrysochos 7-5, 7-6 (2). Benchetrit further solidified the lead by outclassing Menelaos Efstathiou 6-3, 6-2.
In the fourth match, Hamza Karmoussi faced a defeat against Stylianos Christodoulou with a score of 3-6, 1-6.
The scheduled final match between Benchetrit and Chrysochos was ultimately not played, as Morocco had already secured the decisive victory.
