Morocco’s mixed taekwondo team finished as world runner-up in its category on Thursday at the world championships held in the Korean city of Goyang (November 14-16).
The mixed national team won the silver medal after losing the final to Brazil by two sets to 0.
It reached the final at the expense of Mexico in the quarters (2-0) and Côte d’Ivoire in the semis (2-0).
The women’s national taekwondo team also made a name for itself at these championships, having been finished runners-up in the world team event on Tuesday.
The national team won the silver medal after being beaten in the final by the host country, Korea, (2-0). They qualified for the final after beating Côte d’Ivoire in the quarters (2-0) and Mexico in the semis (2-1).
