The Moroccan national football team players touched down today at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maamoura as they gear up for the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON). Among the first arrivals were Mohammed Chibi from Pyramids FC, Bilal El Khannouss representing KRC Genk, and the team captain, Romain Saiss from Al Shabab Saudi Club.
The official Instagram account of the National Team shared stories showcasing the players’ arrival, including Mehdi Benabid, Yahya Attia Allah, Ayoub El Kaabi, Tarik Tissoudali, Soufiane Boufal, Amine Harit, and Azzedine Ounahi.
According to reports from the sports journal Hesport, Walid Reguragui, the national team coach, urged all players to be present at the complex today, emphasizing the commencement of preparations for the AFCON, scheduled to kick off in less than two weeks.
