Battling through challenging conditions, including strong winds, Laklalech showcased her skill and resilience, earning her second top 10 finish of the season and solidifying her position at 22nd in the 2024 European Tour Order of Merit.
The previous week saw another standout performance from Moroccan golfer Maha Haddioui, who finished tied for 16th at the Joburg Ladies tournament, also part of the Ladies European Tour.
On the men’s professional circuit, Ayoub Lguirati and Othman Raouzi made their mark at the Saudi Open, an event on the Asian Tour. Both players successfully made the cut and finished in the top 70, amidst competition from international stars like Henrik Stenson.
In the amateur ranks, the Moroccan women’s national team, led by coach Younes El Hassani and featuring Abir Taibi, Sonia Bayahya, and Noha Ghadi, secured an impressive 3rd place finish at the All Africa Junior Championship. Held in South Africa.
