The French Professional League, Ligue 1 has launched the fourth edition of the e-Ligue 1 Tour, an amateur e-sports competition played on EA SPORTS FC 24 and EA SPORTS FC Online.
Open to gamers and fans aged 16 and above from the Ligue 1 worldwide, regardless of skill level, registrations for the fourth season’s qualifications have opened globally, including regions such as Morocco, North America, Latin America, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, the Middle East, and China.
Commencing on January 3 with the first stage in China, the competition will progress to North America, Latin America, Morocco, and the Middle East on February 24 and 25, 2024. The initial phase of the eLigue 1 Tour will conclude in March with offline tournaments in Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Kenya.
Players will select their favorite Ligue 1 team and compete on EA SPORTS FC 24 (EA Sports FC Online for China) using the same rules and game mode on PS5, Xbox Serie X/S, and PC.
The qualification phase will determine the best player from each of the 8 regions/countries, with these 8 finalists earning a trip to France for the eLigue 1 Tour Finals on April 20-21, 2024, at the Freaks 4U Gaming studios in Paris. Beyond the competition, finalists will have the opportunity to experience an unforgettable weekend in the heart of Ligue 1, including VIP match conditions, stadium visits, tours of different French cities, and more.
